Job Description
Become an essential link in the medical supply chain as a Courier Driver for Express Courier Services in San Diego. We deliver hope and health by transporting crucial medical supplies and specimens securely throughout the San Diego region.
Core Responsibilities
Operate vehicles safely across San Diego routes for scheduled and on-demand medical deliveries.
Carefully transport lab specimens, maintaining necessary temperature and safety controls.
Deliver outstanding service and maintain clear communication with all medical facility staff.
Document all transport activities accurately using our digital systems.
Troubleshoot route issues and adapt to traffic conditions in the San Diego area.
Keep your vehicle clean, organized, and properly serviced.
Follow all company policies regarding appearance, attendance, and safety.
Participate in cross-training to support other team functions as needed.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ years of experience in delivery driving or related logistics roles.
- Valid driver's license accompanied by a pristine driving record.
- Strong navigational knowledge of San Diego and surrounding communities.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and endure long periods of sitting/driving.
- Strong communication skills and a professional attitude.
- Proficiency with modern routing software and communication devices.
- Understanding of, or willingness to learn, medical courier compliance standards.
